    The CCS811 HDC1080 module is a gas sensor system on chip (SSoC)+temperature and humidity sensor that uses low-power sensing technology to detect volatile organic compounds (VOCs) indoors.

     

    From the schematic diagram of the CCS811 HDC1080 module onboard, we can see that this is not just a simple sensor. It also integrates an MCU inside, making this sensor capable of onboard processing. Without the need for host intervention, it can provide equivalent carbon dioxide levels or total volatile organic compound (TVOC) indicators. Meanwhile, compared to solutions using separate gas sensors and MCU, CCS811 can save equipment bill of materials costs and up to 60% of board area.

     

    HDC1080 is a low-power, high-precision digital humidity sensor with temperature sensors

    DC1080 is a digital humidity sensor with integrated temperature sensors, which can provide excellent measurement accuracy at ultra-low power consumption. HDC1080 supports a wide range of operating power supply voltages, and compared to competitive solutions, this device can provide low-cost and low-power advantages for various common applications. Both humidity and temperature sensors have been factory calibrated.

    Temperature accuracy is ± 0.2 ° C (typical value)

    Excellent stability under high humidity
