    The XL6009/LM2577 on the market uses a single SS34 rectifier tube, and the withstand voltage value is not enough. According to the buck-boost principle, the withstand voltage value of the rectifier tube and the switch tube should be greater than the maximum input voltage and increase the sum of the output voltage (if the input voltage and output voltage are mostly 30V , the withstand voltage value of mos tube and Schottky should reach at least 60V), SS34 withstand voltage is 40V high, 6009 high withstand voltage 36V, the design of this module has potential safety hazards;

     

    Secondly, the current output capacity is not enough, the original SS34 high current is 3A (plus the switching loss, the heat dissipation is not good, the real current capacity is less than 3A), once the Schottky voltage is too high or the temperature is too high, it will be broken down and burned. The main chip has security risks;

     

    Finally, the XL6009/LM2577 solution has low efficiency, and the common inductor generates a lot of heat. It is not a buck-boost chip and lacks sufficient protection.
