    Product Information:

     

    DS1302 is a trickle charging clock chip, which contains a real-time clock/calendar and 31 bytes of static RAM. It communicates with the single-chip computer through a simple serial interface. The real-time clock/calendar circuit provides information about seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years. The number of days per month and the number of days in leap years can be automatically adjusted. The clock operation can be determined in 24 or 12 hour format through AM/PM instructions. The communication between DS1302 and single-chip microcomputer can be carried out simply by synchronous serial mode. Only three port lines are needed: (1) RST reset (2) I/O data line (3) SCLK serial clock. The read/write data of the clock/RAM is communicated in the form of a byte or a character group of up to 31 bytes. The power consumption of DS1302 is very low during operation, and the power of data and clock information is less than 1mW

    Wiring Method:

    Matters Needing Attention:

     

    1. VCC and GND must not be connected reversely to avoid burning the chip

    2.51 The P0 port of the single-chip microcomputer needs to be connected with a pull-up resistance. If your single-chip microcomputer is not connected with a pull-up resistance, you can connect the data line to other ports
