Module Introduction:
Thanks to the full compensation algorithm and height algorithm built into the MPL3115A2, the sensor can directly output 20-bit pressure readings or 20-bit height readings, as well as 12-bit temperature readings, with an effective resolution of up to 30 centimeters. From the beginning of measurement to the output of international standard units (Pascal, meter, and Celsius), MCU only needs to perform I2C read and write operations, without any additional data processing, effectively saving MCU resources while greatly reducing system power consumption.
The MPL3115A2 also supports on chip pressure, height, and temperature offset adjustment, autonomous data acquisition, limit alarm, and extreme value recording functions. The sensor also provides an oversampling rate of up to 128 times, with 32 FIFO sampling buffers for data storage, and the host can read data as needed.
