    TPS61088 is a high power density fully integrated boost converter equipped with an 11m Ω power switch and a 13m Ω rectifier switch, providing a small-scale solution for portable systems. TPS61088 has a wide input voltage range of 2.7V to 12V, providing support for applications using single or two lithium batteries. This device has a 10A switching current capability and can provide an output voltage of up to 12.6V.

     

    TPS61088 adopts an adaptive constant turn off time peak current control topology to adjust the output voltage. Under medium to heavy load conditions, TPS61088 operates in PWM mode. Under light load conditions, the device can select the following two operating modes through the MODE pin. One is the PFM mode with a rate of improvement; Another type is the forced PWM mode that can avoid application problems caused by low switching frequency. The switching frequency in PWM mode can be adjusted within the range of 200kHz to 2.2MHz through an external resistor.

     

    TPS61088 also implements programmable soft start function and adjustable switch peak current limit function. In addition, the device also provides 13.2V output overvoltage protection, periodic overcurrent protection, and thermal shutdown protection.

     

    TPS61088 uses 20 pins 4.50mm × 3.50mm VQFN package.
