Product Overview:

JM-101 fingerprint module is an integrated fingerprint processing module integrating optical path and fingerprint processing part. It has the characteristics of small size, low power consumption, simple interface, high reliability, fast identification speed, good adaptability to dry and wet fingers, and fast fingerprint search speed. The communication interface of JM-101 module is USB and UART.

Working Principle:

1. Fingerprint features:

The features extracted from the acquired fingerprint image by fingerprint algorithm represent the fingerprint information. Fingerprint storage, comparison and search are all completed by operating fingerprint features.

2. Fingerprint processing includes two processes:

fingerprint login process and fingerprint matching process (including fingerprint matching (1:1) and fingerprint search (1: N)).

During fingerprint login, each fingerprint is entered twice, the images entered twice are processed, and the composite template is stored in the module. During fingerprint matching, input the fingerprint image to be verified and process it through the fingerprint sensor, and then match and compare it with the fingerprint template in the module (if matching with a template specified in the module, it is called fingerprint comparison method, i.e. 1:1 method; if matching with multiple templates, it is called fingerprint search method, i.e. 1: N method), and the module gives the matching result (pass or fail).
