    Product Information:

     

    Precision continuous self calibrating analog-to-digital A/D converter with differential input and up to 16 bit resolution package provides an input differential voltage range of 2.048V for a small SOT23-6 chip reference voltage of 2.048V. ADS1110 uses a compatible I2C serial interface to operate on a single power supply of 2.7V to 5.5V.

     

    The ADS1110 can sample 15, 30, 60, or 240 times per second for conversion. The programmable gain amplifier PGA provides up to 8 times the gain and allows measurement of smaller signals with high resolution. In a single cycle conversion mode, the ADS1110 automatically shuts down power after a conversion, greatly reducing current consumption during idle periods.

     

    ADS1110 is designed for applications that require high-resolution measurement. Space and power consumption are primary considerations in such applications. Typical applications include portable instruments, industrial process control, and small transmitters.
