    Product Information:

     

    The amount of charge is the integral of current time. The LTC4150 can measure battery consumption and charging in handheld PC and portable product applications. The device monitors the current flowing through an external detection resistor located between the positive pole of the battery and the battery load or charger. Thus, the voltage at both ends of the detection resistance is obtained, and then the signal is integrated by stages to infer the electric quantity. The output is in the form of pulses at the device interrupt pin. The frequency of the pulses is the detection voltage, and the number of pulse cycles is the coulomb number. These pulses correspond to a fixed amount of charge flowing into or out of the battery, and indicate battery discharge or charge with polarity.

    Interface Description:

     

    ● VIO: default power supply 5V, short circuit SJ2 and SJ3 and use 3.3V power supply

    ● SJ1: default short circuit of bonding pad and automatic clearing interruption of components; Disconnection requires an external input signal to clear the interruption

    ●+OUT: SENSE+load power supply terminal, battery charging input terminal, and inductive current positive input terminal

    ●+IN: SENSE - Negative input terminal of inductive current and positive terminal of tested battery power supply

    ● SHDN: digital shutdown input, effective at low level;

    ● POL: battery current polarity indication output, which is used to charge the current flowing into the battery at high level and discharge the current flowing out of the battery at low level;

    ● CLR: Clear interrupt digital input

    ● INT: charge counting interrupt open drain output
