  • ZB2L3 Battery Capacity Tester

    Product Information:

Single function, through load control and real-time comprehensive discharge current capacity results, it can support up to 15V 3A discharge. Through discharge voltage and current, the maximum self discharge capacity statistics support 9999Ah (9999000mAh) automatic identification and formulation of appropriate battery termination voltage, which can also be manually set.

Matching resistance estimation method: according to Ohm's law, the estimated resistance value=the battery voltage divided by the expected discharge current, and the resistance power selection is more than twice the result of the battery voltage multiplied by the expected discharge current. It should be noted that the battery full charge voltage is relatively high, and the current should not exceed 3.0A under the full charge voltage!

For example, if a 12V battery needs to be tested with a 2A current, the resistance requires 6 Ω and the power is 50W. The new 12V battery has a full charge voltage of approximately 13.5V, and the corresponding maximum current is 13.5/6=2.25A, which is less than 3A and can be used.

In addition, if using a light bulb for testing, the maximum current can only be taken as half (1.5A) because the cold resistance of the light bulb is very low and the starting impulse current is very high. Choosing too much may directly burn out the circuit!!!!

    Specifications:

    ● Power supply voltage: DC 4.5-6V (micro USB plug)

    ● Working current: less than 70mA

    ● Discharge voltage: 1.00V-15.00V 0.01V resolution

    ● Termination voltage range: 0.5-11.0 V

    ● Supporting current: 3.000A 0.001A resolution

    Instructions For Use:

    1. The first test should fully charge the battery.

    2. Connect the positive pole of the battery to be tested to the positive input, and the negative input to the negative pole. Do not connect it in reverse (reverse connection with load will damage the circuit)! The load is output with positive and negative outputs, powered by the micro USB of the tester (not available for desktop or laptop USB power supply), and connected to battery voltage.

    3. Simply press the "OK" button to start the test directly, and the tester can automatically generate the corresponding termination voltage for the fully charged battery. After three tests, it will start flashing. It is necessary to establish a manual termination voltage. Only when the battery voltage display status is displayed, can the termination voltage display start with P by pressing the "+" or "-" keys. The following represents a voltage resolution of 0.1V. After pressing "OK", the setting will start the inspection.

    4. After starting the test, the tester will turn on the load electronic switch, and during the test data display process, the wheels between the capacity (Ah), current discharge current (A), and battery voltage (V) will be released. When the battery voltage reaches the set cutoff voltage, the load control shutdown tester displays data that remains at or above the capacity (Ah) and the corresponding indicator lights flash quickly together. At this time, the actual capacity of the battery is displayed as the discharge capacity. Press "OK" to stop flashing and stabilize the data display. Press "OK" again to return to the startup status. Only the battery can be replaced for testing in the next section

    Error Codes And Their Meanings:

    Err1: Battery voltage exceeds 15V

Err2: The electrical voltage is lower than the termination voltage

Err3: The battery cannot withstand the load or the discharge current line resistance is too high

    Err4: Overcurrent (current exceeding 3.1A)

    Secondary Calibration Operation:

Press and hold three buttons simultaneously to power on the tester and enter calibration mode. First, display the number of calibration records, and then enter the formal calibration sampling program to display 0u0A. At this time, short circuit the input positive and negative poles and press the "OK" button to complete the display of J10u. Apply 10.00V standard DC voltage between the input positive and negative poles, and then press the "OK" button to display J2.0A, Apply a constant 2.0A DC current to the output negative electrode (inflow direction) and input negative electrode (outflow direction), and then press the "OK" button to complete the calibration. The tester will pre audit the calibration data. If the calibration data is reliable, it will display 4 calibration numbers in sequence and exit. If the pre audit considers the data unreliable, the data will be discarded and exit.

    Attention:

During the process of using resistor discharge, the resistor load will generate severe heat. Please pay attention to safety!

This circuit voltage is used to improve measurement accuracy, especially for DC bias. When the terminal is not displayed, a small voltage does not affect the measurement. If the input terminal is shorted (absolute 0V), it will display 0
