Sound Sensor Module

Product Information:

The sound sensor is applicable to all single-chip development boards, development kits and smart cars. Through the simple signal processing of SCM, interesting experiments such as music fountain and voice controlled car can be realized. The sensor module only occupies one IO port, and the volume is determined by the signal length (vibration time). Only the vibration time can be measured, so the timbre and audio cannot be judged.

1. It can detect the sound intensity of the surrounding environment. Note: This sensor can only identify the presence or absence of sound (according to the vibration principle), but cannot identify the size of sound or the sound of a specific frequency.

2. Adjustable sensitivity (blue digital potentiometer adjustment in the figure)

4. Output form: digital switching output (0 and 1 high and low levels)

Interface Description:

● VCC: external 3.3V-5V voltage (can be directly connected to 5V microcontroller or 3.3V microcontroller)

● GND: external GND

● OUT: Small board switch output interface (0 and 1)

Instructions:

1. The sound module is sensitive to the ambient sound intensity and is generally used to detect the sound intensity of the surrounding environment.

2. When the ambient sound intensity of the module cannot reach the set threshold, OUT outputs a high level; when the ambient sound intensity exceeds the set threshold, OUT outputs a low level

3. The small board digital output OUT can be directly connected to a single computer, and the high and low levels can be detected through the microcontroller, thus detecting the sound of the environment

4. The small board digital output OUT can directly drive the relay module of our shop, which can form a voice control switch
