If the number is too large, the voltage of the power supply will be too low, resulting in unstable signal transmission. The high-speed register area inside the device contains a two byte temperature register, which is used to store the data output by the temperature sensor. In addition, the high-speed register area also has one byte of upper and lower temperature alarm registers (TH and TL) and one byte of configuration registers. The configuration register allows the user to set the temperature accuracy to 9~12 bits, and the corresponding resolutions are 0.5 ° C, 0.25 ° C, 0.125 ° C and 0.0625 ° C. TH, TL and configuration registers are EEPROM, and the stored data will not disappear when the device is powered down. Another function of DS18B20 is that it can work without external power supply. When the bus is in the high level state, DQ and pull-up resistor are connected to supply power to the device through a single bus. At the same time, the bus signal in the high level state charges the internal capacitor (Cpp). When the bus is in the low level state, the capacitor provides energy to the device. This form of energy supply is called "parasitic power supply"; In the parasitic power mode, the VDD pin must be grounded.
