Infrared Car Obstacle Avoidance Sensor Module
Module Description:
The sensor module has strong adaptability to environmental light. It has a pair of infrared transmitting and receiving tubes. The transmitting tube emits infrared light of a certain frequency. When the detection direction encounters an obstacle (reflective surface), the infrared light is reflected back and received by the receiving tube. After being processed by the comparator circuit, the green indicator light will be on, and the signal output interface outputs a digital signal (a low-level signal), The detection distance can be adjusted through the potentiometer knob. The effective distance range is 2~30cm, and the working voltage is 3.3V-5V.
The detection range of the sensor can be adjusted through a potentiometer, and it has the characteristics of small interference, easy assembly, easy use, etc. It can be widely used in robot obstacle avoidance, obstacle avoidance car, pipeline counting, black and white line tracking and many other occasions.
Module Parameters:
1 When the module detects the front obstacle signal, the green indicator on the circuit board lights up at the level, and the OUT port continuously outputs low level signals. The module detects a distance of 2~30cm and a detection angle of 35 °. The detection distance can be adjusted by the potentiometer. Adjust the potentiometer clockwise to increase the detection distance; Adjust the potentiometer counterclockwise to detect the decrease of distance.
2. The sensor is active in infrared reflection detection, so the reflectivity and shape of the target are the key to the detection distance. The black detection range is the smallest, and the white detection range is the largest; Small area objects have small distance, large area objects have large distance.
3. The output port OUT of the sensor module can be directly connected with the IO port of the microcontroller, or directly drive a 5V relay; Connection mode: VCC-VCC; GND-GND; OUT-IO
4. The comparator adopts LM393, which is stable in operation;
5. The module can be powered by 3-5 V DC power supply. When the power is turned on, the red power indicator lights up;
6. With 3mm screw holes, it is easy to fix and install;
7. Circuit board size: 3.2CM * 1.4CM
8. The threshold comparison voltage of each module has been adjusted through the potentiometer during shipment. Do not adjust the potentiometer at will unless under special circumstances.
